In Alsace, the balmy spring and hot summer of 2015 reduced noble rot, boosting the richness of Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Pinot Gris Rangen de Thann Clos Saint Urbain Grand Cru 2015, sourced from 52-year-old vines, with concentrated fruit and refined sweetness.
Burgundy’s 2015 reds, blending the depth of 2005 with the charm of 2010, shine in wines like Domaine Castagnier Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru 2015, praised by Neal Martin as “the biggest surprise”💓 at Burgfest for its blackberry bouquet and depth, and Domaine Guyon Vosne-Romanée En Orveaux Premier Cru 2015, a hidden gem with rich dark fruits, cherries, sweet spices, silky texture, and fine-grained tannins.
