Tasting note
The 2015 Chinon Pierre de Tuf is very deep, fresh and spicy/herbal on the nose with perfectly ripe fruits. Full-bodied, round and silky on the palate, this is a well-balanced yet tensioned and enormously long and spicy Pierre de Tuf. There is a beautiful sweetness and precision of ripe, sweet and fresh berries on the finish and aftertaste. This is very long, fresh and salty, a great Left Bank Chinon. This Cabernet Franc is so generous and rich but elegant and beautifully balanced.
