Broking

For clients looking to rebalance their collection, or to sell wines that have appreciated in value, we offer a brokerage service to add your wines to our list of offerings for our clients. This is how the process work.

Valuation

You send us a list of wines for sale, and we would either offer a price to buy this outright from you, or a value at which we think we can sell this on your behalf. Our valuation is merely a suggestion, you have the freedom to offer your wines at a different price though this may impact the time needed for a successful sale. We will also advise our commission, which is typically 10%, at this stage.

Transfer

If you are satisfied with our offer, we may ask for photos and/or documentation for the wines. We would request for you to send the wines to us, to be stored under an account in your own name in professional storage. We will send you the details for the transfer, or we can collect the wines from you if you are based in Hong Kong at a charge.

Insepction

Upon arrival, we will check these wines for correctness (whether it’s genuine) and condition, and we may return the wines if they are not of the standard we expect. We would typically only accept wines in original cases, with ullage consistent with age, has good cork condition, and undamaged labels.

For sale

We will add your wines to our list to be sent out to our clients, and we will make clients with particular interests in the type of wines you are selling aware of these new additions to the list. You can remove your wines from sale or adjust the price at any time.

Completion

Upon a successful sale, we will release the wines to the buyer after they have fulfilled the payments. We will send you a purchase order, and transfer the funds to your designated account after deducting our commission.
