Tasting note
The 2015 Irancy Les Cailles is lovely, unwinding in the glass with youthful aromas of red cherries, plums, raw cocoa and spicy forest floor. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and supremely elegant, with juicy balancing acids and tannins that caress the palate, concluding with a chalky finish. Like all of Richoux's 2015's, it's thrilling to taste now, but the real fireworks will come with some bottle age.
