As holiday shopping heats up, we have a selection of newly arrived bottles. While the list is limited, each wine is exceptional for celebrations across various budgets. We hope you find something you love below.😉
First up is the Champagne Lassaigne La Colline Inspirée Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs NV from Montgueux, offers freshness with notes of white fruit and citrus, enhanced by brioche aromas, a rich texture, and a mineral finish.
For whites, we have the Mount Mary Triolet White Blend 2004 from Yarra Valley. If you prefer Burgundian whites, we feature Coche-Dury Bourgogne Chardonnay 2021, with mingled notes of flowers, apples, and pears, and a bright palate with chamomile hints. The mature Domaine Henri Boillot Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2005, nearly 20 years old, is elegant and clean.
For reds, the Cullen Diana Madeline, Margaret River 2001, is a top vintage, showcasing a polished and harmonious expression with enticing aromas of ripe blackcurrant, cedar, and vanilla, along with fine-grained tannins. The Domaine Dujac Morey St Denis 2005 presents black cherry and smokiness on the nose, with a deep palate and silky texture. Consider the Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cherbaudes Vieilles Vignes Premier Cru 2020, which is described as “the finest rendition of this site” by critic William Kelley.
For Grand Cru options, we have Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru 2009, with a complex bouquet of red plums, cherries, and fresh thyme, plus an intensely flavored palate. Alternatively, the Domaine Arnoux Lachaux Echezeaux Les Rouges Grand Cru 2019 bursts with wild berries, plums, and spices, providing a deep, layered experience.
