2022係勃艮第有紀錄以嚟其中一個最乾、最熱、最多陽光嘅年份。高溫一度令人擔心葡萄藤受壓、果實過熟；但六月落過雨，加上採收唔趕，最後反而出到一批風格一致嘅勃艮第紅酒。評論多視它為現代經典，而未至傳奇級年份：魅力與香氣更接近2017，並帶一點2015的熟果層次，但整體比2015更新鮮、更輕盈💗。
入口以黑車厘子與黑加侖子為主，中段飽滿，單寧絲滑，酸度足夠，整體有活力。較好嘅地塊，大概可以放多八年至十五年，亦不太會進入明顯封閉期。
選對地、處理細緻嘅酒莊在2022尤其有利。Pommard同Volnay喺Cote de Beaune紅酒表現特別出色；Cote de Nuits入面，Vosne-Romanee以香氣、層次同深度脫穎而出。Nuits-Saint-Georges表現參差啲，但最好嗰批有力度、有活力。平衡得最好嘅，係熟果同柔滑質地之間，仍然保住新鮮、通透同細緻單寧。
可先由這幾支開始：Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes與Hudelot-Noellat Chambolle-Musigny，村級已見魅力；Launay-Horiot Pommard Les Rugiens Bas 1er Cru與Henri Gouges Nuits-Saint-Georges Clos des Porrets 1er Cru，一級園有結構、有力度；Coquard-Loison-Fleurot Clos de la Roche，則從特級園層面看這個年份。

2022 was one of Burgundy’s driest, warmest and sunniest years on record. Heat raised fears of stressed vines and overripe fruit; June rain and an unhurried harvest produced consistent red Burgundy instead. Critics call it a modern classic rather than a monument: closer to 2017 in charm and perfume, with a touch of 2015’s ripe-fruit depth, though fresher and lighter than 2015💗.
The wines speak in black cherry and blackcurrant, with a richer mid-palate, velvety tannins and enough acidity to stay lifted. Better sites should drink well for eight to fifteen years and are unlikely to shut down hard.
2022 rewarded the right sites and sensitive handling. Pommard and Volnay delivered especially successful Cote de Beaune reds, while Vosne-Romanee stood out in the Cote de Nuits for perfume, detail and depth. Nuits-Saint-Georges was more variable, but the best examples are powerful and energetic. Overall, the most convincing wines balance ripe fruit and supple texture with freshness, transparency and fine tannins.
A few to start with: Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes and Hudelot-Noellat Chambolle-Musigny for village charm; Launay-Horiot Pommard Les Rugiens Bas 1er Cru and Henri Gouges Nuits-Saint-Georges Clos des Porrets 1er Cru for premier cru grip; Coquard-Loison-Fleurot Clos de la Roche for the vintage at grand cru scale.

A lively full fresh purple. The wine is at a cool temperature down here in the cellar and not showing much detail on the nose. Then a wonderful surge in the fruit, deep fresh raspberry, mature cherry, a little youthful bitterness behind. Very backward. One new barrel out of the two. 30% new wood. Fresh mid purple. The bouquet is wonderfully lifted, Antoine explains they use a particularly light hand with this cuvee to avoid the potential austerity. The acidity is fine and the tannins are ripe, while there is still that clear backbone to the fruit which Vaucrains should have. Very persistent, and such high-class fruit. Drink from 2032-2040. A glowing fresh purple. Not reduction but just a mineral flinty top note above the fruit. Sitting back on its haunches but this lack of immediacy makes it even finer. Five new barrels in nine. A lively purple colour. The bouquet shows some of the headier qualities of Vosne-Romanée allied to the ballast of Nuits-St-Georges. No black fruit notes in this wine, purely concentrated red berries backed by both acidity and tannins, leading to a fine long finish. Very satisfactory. Drink from 2030-2037.
