The 2012 Vecina is a dark, brooding beauty. Lavish dark plum, chocolate, new oak, licorice and sweet spice infuse the 2012 with tons of textural richness. The 2012 offers plenty of nuance but also has the depth to drink well for another decade, maybe more. This is a fine showing, although some bottles have shown greater intensity.
