Wonderfully complex nose of incense floral character, pears and apples surrounded by a light marzipan waxiness. All clearly defined. There’s a fantastically appetising texture to the palate, mouth-filling with a light grainy grip. Tremendous, layered freshness supporting the appley fruit through the mid palate and into the finish, which lingers long on notes of dried herbs and yuzu pepper. Complete, complex, compelling. (OC)
