Another Champagne producer you can’t pass up in our portfolio is Champagne Philippe Glavier, the specialist in Grand Cru Chardonnay BDB and one of the smallest producers in the Cote des Blancs!
Since 1995, Philippe and Veronique Glavier have crafted exceptional Blanc de Blancs Champagnes in the village of Cramant. Their 4.6-hectare family estate spans 47 Chardonnay parcels across the Grand Cru villages of Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Each parcel is harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified separately, allowing the distinct terroir to shine through in their single-varietal Chardonnay wines. Their style is consistently rich, full-bodied, and powerful.✨
Each village contributes a unique profile🌱: Cramant blends minerality, salinity, chalkiness, and creaminess; Avize offers crisp, pure minerality; Oger provides rounded, naturally fruity notes (often pressed first for its sweeter grapes); and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger adds vibrant, linear minerality. Passionate about Chardonnay and inspired by its versatility, Philippe and Veronique expertly blend these parcels, fine-tuning proportions and incorporating young reserve wines (one to two years old) to produce Champagnes with vivid, distinctive character. 🍾

La Grace d’Apahel Grand Cru offers fresh citrus and subtle balance from the villages; Genesis, a bold Chardonnay, reflects Le Mesnil-sur-Oger’s vibrant terroir; Emotion, a vintage blend, harmonizes the four Grand Cru villages; Mesnil Emotion and Cramant Emotion each provide a vivid vintage expression of their terroirs; Folie de Cramant, a vintage Cramant cuvée, gains depth from 300L oak barrel aging.
