Tasting note
The 2013 Brut Le Mesnil Emotion is terrific. It captures the energy of Mesnil, along with that extra kick of mid-palate pliancy that is at times missing in these Champagnes. Then again, 2013 was an exceptional vintage in the Cộte des Blancs. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint, crushed rocks and bright saline notes build effortlessly in the glass. This is beautifully done.
