Tasting note
Pale green-yellow. Laid-back, mineral-driven aromas of white peach and white flowers convey a light touch. Densely packed and penetrating but with nothing heavy about it, boasting outstanding definition to its flavors of white stone fruits, flowers, anise and noble herbs. This wine's inner-mouth aromatic lift is rare for young Batard. A note of chicken-soup reduction comes late. This utterly seamless wine boasts an element of sweetness that makes it deceptively accessible now but I'd rather wait at least five years
