Tasting note
(vinified with 50% whole clusters): Medium red. Knockout nose combines raspberry, strawberry, spices, leather, mulch and smoky minerality; a real essence of Burgundy. Plush, sweet and seamless, offering outstanding richness and sheer size without any impression of heaviness. There's more wine here than the Au Dessus de Malconsorts is showing today, but this is less showy and high-pitched. Finishes extremely long, with substantial tongue-dusting tannins and lively peppery lift.
