Tasting note
The 2019 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a pronounced rose watertinged bouquet, flattering if just missing a bit of complexity considering the Premier Cru in question. The palate is well-balanced with a pleasant, saline entry, lightly spiced with hints of lemongrass. It's pretty tensile but maybe just missing the weight and concentration of Perrières finest exponents on the finish. Nevertheless, it will still give 15-20 years of drinking pleasure. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
