Tasting note
The 2010 Clos de Vougeot is magnificent. It boasts gorgeous textural richness and fabulous overall balance. The significant millerandage in this parcel has given the Clos de Vougeot a distinctly dark profile. Deep layers of dark cherries, menthol, spices and licorice flesh out beautifully on the pure, crystalline finish. This is a great Clos de Vougeot. Anticipated maturity: 2025-2040.
