Bt (750ml)
Stock Location: HK
Tasting note
The 2009 Echézeaux Grand Cru is a little more evolved on the nose in direct comparison to the 2010, moving firmly into secondary aromas of undergrowth, leather and sage, though ample fruit is still extant. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit and fine backbone, lengthy if just missing the complexity of the best vintages produced by the domaine. A solid showing rather than a spectacular one.
Score: 92
