Tasting note
The darker colour of the two and funkily reductive having just finished malolactic and is yet to be racked. There is significant weight on the palate, more than the regular, all in one tone at the moment but the extra weight really fills the whole palate. Concentrated dark cherries and some plums. Fruit overwhelms the structure. Right at the back the tension from the mix of acidity and whole bunches. Very good length. In fact, the aftertaste is stunning. Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted Oct 2022.
