Tasting note
A very intense super saturated deep purple. Rather heavy rich and ripe bouquet. Dark berries with a suggestion of prune. As so often this year it is rather fresher on the palate, giving one hope, but another wine where intensity is more marked than finesse. Just a little too ripe in the fruit profile. Improves in the glass rather than falling away. Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted Sep 2024.
