Tasting note
A classical pale purple colour, now starting to move towards a light red. The bouquet is beginning to suggest readiness, though still primary. The wine is beginning to fill the mouth, putting some flesh on the bones. Perfect fruit-acid-tannin balance. With time it becomes a touch more sombre and some slightly dry tannins emerge. Like all the best 2006s, this will benefit from further cellaring.
