Tasting note
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques is one of the more structured wines in the range, unwinding in the glass with scents of dark berries, plums, petals, dark chocolate and forest floor, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy palate underpinned by lively acids and powdery tannins that assert themselves on the attractively perfumed finish.
