Tasting note
This wine lived up to the producer’s exceptional reputation. It offers that indefinable sense of harmony that makes you smile as soon as you put your nose into the glass, and it doesn’t fail you on the palate either. Extremely backward for a 9 year old village wine, with lemon gunflint on the nose, the fruit growing steadily in the glass, and with exceptional length. Hard to do better than this! Tasted Sep 2019.
