Tasting note
From 80 to 120 year old vines in En Champs, Combes du Dessus, and Aux Echezeaux. Thirteen barrels have been produced from just under a hectare. Denser purple, the nose is hidden because this is going to be a long-term winner, not a sprinter. Really stylish with a density of dark fruit, some black cherries. Arnaud would like to bottle this all in magnums (to be confirmed...). Tasted Nov 2019 by Jasper Morris MW.
