Bt (750ml)
Stock Location: HK
Tasting note
Three years since I last tasted it, the 2010 Morgon Côte du Py Les Impénitents is showing even better, wafting from the glass with aromas of dark berry fruit, rich soil tones, warm spices, smoke and black truffle. Medium to full-bodied, rich and velvety, with a deep and concentrated core of fruit, it’s framed by powdery tannins that are integrating beautifully with bottle age. A vintage forgotten in the shadow of 2009 and 2011, the best 2010s from the Beaujolais look to be surpassing their riper and more celebrated siblings with bottle age.
Score: 95
