Tasting note
A cooler vintage, the 2014 Clos La Néore provides a greener edge aromatic expression with its green gooseberry, herbal notes and citrus. Firm, no messing stuff; don't expect a tender, soft Sancerre, this is steely. There is a mass of concentration packed in here. The fruit purity is outstanding and flavors of chamomile and almond meal linger on the long finish. Excellent.
