Tasting note

The 2019 Chinon Les Chiens Chiens is an aromatic, layered wine offering a floral and herbal nose plus scents of woodsmoke and pencil lead. It's ripe and juicy on entry with welcoming, succulent fruit on the midpalate. On the finish, this is structured and rather more serious than you'd anticipate and needs some time in bottle to mellow.
