Albert Boxler Riesling Grand Cru Brand 2017 - Bt | RP94+

The 2017 Riesling Grand Cru Brand opens intensely fruity and floral on the nose, with a very delicate granite note that comes along as a kind of perfume. Silky, round and charming on the palate this is a lush, salty, well-structured and tannic Brand with lingering salinity. Bottled in August 2018 and tasted in October 2018, so it is still very young and with potential to improve and gain finesse.

Francois Rousset-Martin Cotes du Jura Magnifique Goutte d'Eau 2018 - Bt

It is a vibrant, non-oxidative late-harvest Chardonnay from Cotes du Jura, picked in November from overripe yet healthy grapes free of botrytis. Intense aromas of candied lemon and chalk unfold with air. The palate is tense and electric, bursting with green apple, citrus zest, and striking minerality. High acidity, dry, with a lingering finish. Unfined, unfiltered purity.
Peter Michael L'Apres-Midi Sauvignon Blanc 2005 - Bt | RP93

Made from the same blend as the 2004, the 2005 Sauvignon Blanc l’Apres Midi is 100% barrel-fermented with batonnage, but malolactic fermentation is avoided in order to give the wine crisper acids. Fresh, lively, and exhibiting notions of honeyed grapefruit, melon, and quince, this beautiful white wine will offer uncommon flexibility with an assortment of foods.

Domaine de Trevallon Blanc 2020 - Bt

Domaine de Trévallon’s 2020 Blanc is a rare Provence white blending 60% Marsanne and 40% Roussanne from high-elevation limestone-clay soils. Enchanting aromas of ripe pear, quince, white blossoms, beeswax, and toasted almonds with a saline touch. Rich yet vibrant, balanced by refreshing acidity and finesse. Barrel-aged, minimally intervened.
Robert Mondavi Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2007 - Bt | RP95+

The full-bodied, powerful, pure 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is another outstanding effort revealing notes of spring flowers, toasty oak, creme de cassis, licorice, and graphite. One would have to go back to the 1990, 1991, 2001, or 2002 to find a Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve this impressive. The 2007 should evolve for 20-25 years.
I know there have been a lot of concerns about the huge Constellation empire running Mondavi, but these remain very impressive wines.

Domaine de la Grange des Peres 2012 - Bt

A profound red from Domaine de la Grange des Pères, marrying Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet precludes AOC Languedoc status, so it is under IGP Pays de l’Hérault classification.
Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, herbs, black pepper, and subtle leather. Full-bodied, richly fruited with firm tannins and vibrant balance. Iconic, ageworthy expression.
Anne et Jean-Francois Ganevat Cotes du Jura Les Vignes de Mon Pere 2003 - Bt

A pure Savagnin from Cotes du Jura, aged over ten years under veil in old barrels. The 2003 heatwave vintage brings exceptional power and concentration, balanced by remarkable acidity and tension. Deep gold; intense notes of nuts, dried fruits, and minerals. Saline freshness with endless length.
Masseto 1997 - Bt | AG96

The 1997 Masseto is another very beautiful and expressive wine in this flight. Hints of cedar, sweet spice, tobacco and smoke are all suggestive of a wine that is hitting its plateau of maturity. The 1997 has enough depth to drink well for another decade or more. Today, it is especially silky and expressive, not to mention supremely delicious. Nineteen ninety-seven was a warm, early ripening year marked by a frost in April and lower-than-normal yields.
