雖然我哋冇入Beaujolais Nouveau,但係我哋真係好鍾意呢個區,所以由而家到11月30號,所有Beaujolais酒一律9折!Jean Foillard親自教過嘅得意弟子Anthony Thevenet 嗰幾支更係八折,超抵!

今日想同大家講嘅主角,就係呢位低調大師——Jean Foillard——將Serious Beaujolais重新放返上世界地圖嘅人

好多人以前都覺得 Beaujolais 就係輕輕鬆鬆、開瓶即飲、飲完冇乜印象,但 Foillard 由1980年同太太 Agnès 接手屋企酒莊開始,就完全唔玩呢套。佢釀出嚟嘅Morgon已經成為現代Serious Beaujolais嘅標準。酒莊嘅心臟地帶就係陡峭、滿布花崗岩同片岩嘅Cote du Py,上面種滿古老 Gamay藤,結出嘅葡萄擁有超高濃度同礦物感。

佢同 Marcel Lapierre、Guy Breton、Jean-Paul Thevenet 呢班「四人幫」,跟足Jules Chauvet嘅革命理念:老藤、有機種植、遲收、手工嚴選、原生酵母發酵、極少或完全唔加硫、無過濾、用舊Burgundy桶(有啲更加係前 Romanée-Conti 桶)耐心陳年。

原汁原味咁呈現,冇加冇減,就係 Foillard嘅秘方。

Foillard嘅Morgon 絕對唔係輕飄飄嘅水果汁🍇:有結構、複雜、礦物主導,黑櫻桃、血橙、紫羅蘭同礦物味,口感又滑又深,年輕飲已經好正,但放多十幾二十年都完全無問題!

我哋每款都係得返幾支:

  • Morgon Cote du Py:經典中的經典,老藤深度同礦物感,飲落去好有張力

  • Morgon Cuvee Corcelette:八十幾歲老藤,香氣好迷人,最滑最易入口,但一樣好陳年

  • Morgon Eponym:Morgon 最高嘅單一園,清新、花香、酸度明亮,礦物感好乾淨

In a region long celebrated for its joyful, early-drinking wines, Jean Foillard chose a different path: one of depth, precision and reverence for terroir. Since taking over the family domaine with his wife Agnès in 1980, he has crafted Morgons that have become the modern benchmark for serious Beaujolais. The heart of the domaine lies on the steep, granite-and-schist-rich Côte du Py, where ancient Gamay vines produce fruit of rare intensity and minerality.

Together with Marcel Lapierre, Guy Breton and Jean-Paul Thevenet (the legendary “Gang of Four”), they followed Jules Chauvet’s revolutionary principles: old vines, organic farming from day one, late harvests, meticulous sorting, native-yeast fermentation, little or no sulphur, no filtration, and patient ageing in old Burgundy barrels (some even ex–Romanée-Conti).

Nothing added, nothing taken away. This is the Foillard recipe.😌

Foillard’s Morgon is never a lightweight fruity quaffer🍇: it is structured, complex, mineral-driven, with dark cherry, blood-orange, violet and stone, wrapped in a velvet texture. This is Gamay in its highest form💖: pure, vibrant, soulful, and profound, drinkable young yet capable of ageing 15–20 years.

  • Morgon Cote du Py: A benchmark Beaujolais from old vines, offering depth, tension, and minerality—pure and expressive.

  • Morgon Cuvee Corcelette: Perfume, silk and pure from 80-year-old vines. The most velvety and approachable of the range, yet with serious ageing potential.

  • Morgon Eponym: Morgon's highest lieu-dit, featuring freshness, floral aromas, spice, bright acidity, and a lean, mineral profile, with a silky texture.
