大部分人仲係覺得 Beaujolais 就係嗰啲甜溜溜嘅 Nouveau,或者簡單輕盈嘅紅酒。一杯 Anthony Thevenet 落口,足以即刻改寫你嘅印象,從此刮目相看🙂‍↕️

他跟 Georges Descombes 學足七年,又在 Jean Foillard 身邊做了五年副手。2013 年接手阿爺的葡萄園,藤齡由 40 年到超過 150 年都有,最珍貴那塊過百年單一園,正是他旗艦 Morgon “Centenaire” 的心臟。一接手就全面轉有機,加埋生物動力法,後來更收購咗頂級嘅 Cote du Py,又租了一塊靚到不得了,位於粉紅花崗岩沙土緩坡嘅 Chenas老藤園。

「我鍾意啲酒要 delicate 得來,又要有好多層次。」Anthony Thevenet 講得出做得到。🤓

100% 整串葡萄、手工採收,混凝土缸半碳酸浸漬(溫度控制得好好,果味鮮、單寧滑),天然酵母,浸皮 10–25 日但完全唔 pump-over,之後放舊桶同 600 升大桶陳釀,保留到嗰份透徹感。無新木、零澄清、零過濾,裝瓶前只落少少sulphur 。

結果係超pure又好有個性嘅陣容:

  • Morgon “Vieilles Vignes”(80–100 年老藤) —— 絲滑、好香,深紅果、牡丹、黑朱古力味

  • Morgon “Centenaire”(150 年以上)—— 老藤深度同精緻嘅終極演繹

  • 60–80 年 Morgon(沙質花崗岩)—— 優雅又juicy、單寧輕、礦物感滿滿

  • Chénas Vieilles Vignes(80+ 年)—— 紫羅蘭、黑車厘子、岩石味,超級香

  • Beaujolais-Villages —— 8 日輕碳浸,清新爆燈,紅果礦物超正

  • Beaujolais Blanc(Chardonnay)—— 檸檬白桃加少少鹹味,比一般white burg更易入口

Most people still associate Beaujolais with sweet Nouveau or simple light reds. One glass of Anthony Thevenet is enough to change that perception forever.🙂‍↕

Trained seven years under Georges Descombes and five as Jean Foillard’s right-hand man, Anthony inherited his grandfather’s vines in 2013 — parcels aged 40 to over 150 years old, including a priceless centenarian plot that gives his flagship Morgon “Centenaire”. From day one he converted everything to organic farming with biodynamic preparations, later adding prized Cote du Py and a magnificent rented old-vine parcel in Chenas on gentle slopes of pink-granite sand and gravel.

“💫I prefer wines that are very delicate, but at the same time, very complex,” said Anthony Thevenet. That is exactly what he achieves.🤓

Hand-harvested grapes,100 % whole-bunch semi-carbonic fermentation in concrete (temperature meticulously controlled for vivid fruit and silky tannins), native yeasts, gentle 10–25-day infusions with no pump-overs, then ageing in well-worn barrels and 600-litre demi-muids that softly round the wine while preserving its lift. No new oak, no fining, no filtration, and only the tiniest touch of sulphur at bottling.

The result is a line-up of pure, terroir-driven expressions:

  • Morgon “Vieilles Vignes” (80–100-year-old vines) – silky, perfumed with dark red fruits, peony, and dark chocolate

  • Morgon “Centenaire” (over-150-year-old single parcel) the ultimate expression of old-vine depth and finesse

  • Younger-vine Morgon (60–80-year-old vines, sandy granite) elegant and juicy, light tannins, bright mineral energy

  • Chénas Vieilles Vignes (80+ years vines) intense violet, black cherry and stone — one of the most aromatic crus imaginable

  • Beaujolais-Villages fresh, aromatic, juicy red fruit and mineral snap from 8 days gentle carbonic

  • Beaujolais Blanc (Chardonnay) citrus, white peach and a salty breeze — a fresher, more approachable white Burgundy alternative
