Tasting note
Vilmart's 2011 Brut Grand Cellier Rubis, 60% saignée Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, is pliant, beautifully perfumed and classy. Crushed leaves, cedar and sweet red berry fruit give this super-finessed, Pinot-driven Rosé tons of nuance. The Grand Cellier Rubis is another terrific 2011 from proprietor Laurent Champs. Dosage is 7 grams per liter. Disgorged: June, 2016.
