Tasting note
The 2014 Brut Nature Millésimé Blanc de Blancs is a pure Chardonnay from Montgueux. Chalk and melted butter meet on the nose. The palate is slender and salty, with an edge of caramelized white currant and a touch of white, fresh field mushroom. The saltiness lasts with that slender, smooth, lemony expression. There is almost something of salted, preserved lemon peel about this. Subtle but bright and long. Disgorged: January, 2023. -Anne Krebiehl MW
