Tasting note
The 2020 Brut Rosé de Saignée La Confiance de Mon Père, 100% Meunier, is laced with the essence of red fruit, herbs, tobacco, incense, game, cured meats and kirsch. The wilder side of Meunier comes through loud and clear in a wine that impresses with its assertive voice. The Confiance de Mon Père is probably not everyone's cup of tea, but it sure is mine. Dosage is 0.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: February 8, 2024.
