Tasting note
The 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes bursts onto the palate with generous dark cherries, white flowers, spices and licorice. This is a serious wine endowed with considerable depth and plenty of sheer muscle. Today it appears to have the structure to drink well for a number of years, but patience is required.
Score: 88-90
