Tasting note

The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru has an extraordinarily transparent bouquet - you can really feel the terroir in this wine. There is an almost pastille-like purity here. The palate is sappy on the entry with very good depth and plenty of matière, offering dark berries, cola and a touch of white pepper on the finish. Maybe the Aux Brûlées has a little more sophistication? Still, this is very fine.
