Tasting note
Solid, rich dark crimson. Dark berry fruit, again evidently quite ripe yet showing a sense of balance. This style of bouquet I find enormously pleasing. Layers of flavour on the palate, a vibrant minerality, nuanced all the way through, no excessive alcohol, though the fruit is certainly ripe, and a velvet touch to the finish that is matched by a fresher feel. Brilliant wine! Drink from 2027-2036. Tasted Sep 2023.
