Tasting note
All whole bunch, 55% new wood and a late malolactic fermentation here. Quite rich purple, with a lighter rim, raspberry fruit, the whole bunch effect is in support rather than too obvious. Firm fruit, comes up to the tannins at the back, Decent acidity, but a little lack of concentration, I thought. Brian says just more backward. But note that the quality of the fruit is up where it should be. Tasted Nov 2018.
