Tasting note
If anything, an even deeper purple, this starts with an enviable succulence then finishes on a touch of barrel toast. Quite high-toned aromatics, very dark cherry, showing character at both ends, though just at the moment the middle ground needs to develop further. I have a feeling of a wine with significant potential that is not quite at its ease today. Tasted Oct 2020.
