Tasting note
The upper part is colluvial gravel, while the bottom of the slope is on much deeper clay. The Arlaud holding covers both. Solid dense purple. Fresh black cherry and mulberry without being too rich. An explosion of fruit runs through the middle, some acidity, stays poised though the fruit profile suggests over richness. Pretty stunning again. Tasted Nov 2020.
