We’re popping the cork on something totally new—OUR FIRST-EVER BEER TASTING on Nov 5 (Wed)🍺! We’ve always been about wine, but when we discovered Cantillon Brewery, we couldn’t resist sharing their magic.
Since 1900, this Brussels craft beer icon has been staying true to traditional brewing techniques that date back to medieval times, earning a cult following for their bold, sour, and vibrant flavors. As one of the oldest lambic breweries, Cantillon’s spontaneous fermentation, utilizing wild yeasts and bacteria from the local environment, create complex, fruity sips that is a must-try for anyone who are craving authentic, unforgettable flavors.😋
Cantillon Gueuze Lambic Beer, a true spontaneous fermentation beer, blends lambics from different years with organic wheat and barley malt, along with dried hops. This sugar-free sour offers fruity, acidic notes and a woody aroma, culminating in a dry, lingering finish. It is best enjoyed within 20 years of the bottling date, allowing for a unique, contemplative sip that evolves over time.
Cantillon Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Ale Beer, a vintage lambic matured for three years in oak barrels, is a still, amber-gold beer. It melds aromas of apple, honey, and toasted bread with a dry, wine-like character. Its highly complex profile, marked by a subtle oxidized note, bridges the elegance of wine and the depth of beer, delivering a powerful yet refined experience.
Cantillon Kriek Lambic Bio Beer blends lambics with 200 grams of sour cherries per liter, pouring vibrant red with juicy cherry flavors and subtle almond notes. Best drunk young for its refreshing, tart fruitiness, it delivers a zesty kick, with lambic deepening over time.
Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus Beer, crafted with fresh raspberries macerated in two-year-old lambic, yields a tart, fragrant beer with strawberry and citrus notes. Best enjoyed young for its vibrant, fruit-forward zing, it finishes dry and delightfully refreshing.
