We’re thrilled to welcome back one of our clients’ all-time favourite Champagnes🥳: Champagne Philippe Glavier Genesis Grand Cru NV.
In the heart of the Cote des Blancs, Philippe and Veronique Glavier founded their tiny artisanal estate in 1995. From just 4.6 hectares in Cramant, they tend 47 individual Chardonnay parcels across four prestigious Grand Cru villages.
✨💖Genesis draws fruit from all four — each bringing its own distinctive voice to the blend:
Cramant contributes minerality, salinity, chalkiness and creaminess;
Avize delivers crisp, pure minerality;
Oger adds rounded, naturally fruity notes (often pressed first for its sweeter grapes); and
Le Mesnil-sur-Oger provides vibrant, linear minerality.
This careful selection creates a rich, full-bodied Blanc de Blancs of remarkable depth and precision.
🍾The newly arrived batch is based on the ripe 2018 vintage with 40% young reserve wines (one to two years old). It has spent extended time on lees, developing lovely vinosity, toasted brioche complexity, and a seamless creamy texture that beautifully complements the Cote des Blancs’ signature chalky freshness.
In the glass, expect inviting notes of lemon oil, ripe citrus, white flowers and orchard fruit, followed by a harmonious medium-bodied palate with layers of apricot, dried flowers and a dry, mineral finish. 😋This elegant Blanc de Blancs is perfect for sharing with friends or elevating special occasions.
