Chateau Lafitte’s wines are like a sunny afternoon in South West France🫶—vibrant, welcoming, and full of personality. Run by Antoine Arraou, a former Parisian photographer who traded city lights for vineyard life in 2012, this estate focuses on sustainable winemaking. Taking the reins from his father, Philippe, Antoine has transformed the 5-hectare estate into a vibrant landscape where Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, planted on clay and limestone soils, grow alongside fruit trees, grazing sheep, and buzzing beehives. Certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter), Chateau Lafitte is all about working with nature, creating a joyful balance that you can taste in every bottle.
Antoine’s philosophy is simple yet profound: let the land speak🤍. Embracing the natural wine movement, he crafts his wines with zero sulfites, no additives, and often no filtration, resulting in pure, lively expressions of the Jurancon terroir. Grapes are hand-picked with care, and vinification is an art—some cuvees age in amphorae or stoneware jars, others in barrels or tanks, depending on the vibe Antoine’s chasing. You’ll find both AOC Jurancon wines, crafted within appellation guidelines, and expressive Vin de France bottles, unbound by tradition but deeply rooted in place.

Made from 100% Petit Manseng, this wine is macerated on skins for 21 days, then fermented and aged in terracotta amphorae for 12 months on fine lees.
Bold and vibrant, it offers lemon peel, toasted almonds, peach pie, and fresh honey. Concentrated yet crisp, it’s perfect for cellaring up to 10 years.
