Tasting note
(domain wine) Nut oil, smoke and a suggestion of candied fruits on the super ripe nose. Sweet and spicy-even a bit exotic-but with superb tension and energy giving the wine terrific grip and currently masking its serious volume. This is super ripe yet downright bracing today owing to its very taut acidity and floral lift. Wonderfully dense and in need of bottle aging; this should last a long time.
